Tibetian Chicken

Hello everyone,

The one thing that I have noticed lately is that I keep on searching for the reasons to be happy but I hardly search any reason to be sad. I mean why would I forcefully want to be sad? So I don’t look for it but somehow it finds me. And it finds me a lot of time. But maybe it is because of me, I search for happiness so much that the small things which can actually make me happy I ignore them all. What if I stop searching for the reasons to be happy and start being happy about everything like the food that I cooked or the lunch that I ate. The thing is that I think if we stop searching for happiness it will start searching us just like sadness. Maybe…maybe not who knows??? On that note I want to share a very special recipe with you guys today.
Hope you guys will like it. And if u guys like it please do follow :)

Just Saying :D

Hello Everyone,

Isn't it amazing how many stories are there in the world. I mean so many people with so many stories. Everyone having something to say. Some get the words and ear and some don't. Some get both the words and the ears and still choose not to say.

Sometimes I wonder since there are so many people in the world may it happen that the stories of a few match or everyone just has a different story?? Just imagining about someone having the same story, word and brain as yours is scary. It would be a messed up world if we were all similar.

Too tiredd!!!!!!

Hellooo everyone,

One thing I am like worst at is handling stress. I mean I am horrible when I am stressed I eat (a lot), I don't sleep, I am all moody and irritated.I try to handle it and deal with it but I just can't. And the worst thing is not that i cant handle stress its like the stress knows i cant handle it, so it always comes to me. And this time its back again in the form of exams. But I have decided I am not letting it win this time I m going to be happy, not grumpy at all, even meditate if I have to but stay happy and not stressed at all!!!!

I Love MO:MO :)

Helloo everyone,

So today I was thinking what should I post, I wanted to do a food post but I was really confused. Then I thought I will go through the pictures of the food that I have on my phone and the food that I cook the most will win. I was literraly shocked by how much momo pics I had on my phone. I mean my phone memory is filled with selfies, momo pics and some other food pics. But then I thought what is there to get shocked I mean we all love momos and what is not to love on that food....I mean its meat and dough obviously it will be tasty. Being born in Nepal one thing common about all the Nepalese is that we all love momo. Vegetarian, non- vegetarian we all love momo. Everyone knows how to make it and everyone loves it. I have heard everyone say that my mom makes the best momo in town and it is actually true. Everyone adds these little extra spice and personalize it in their own way. That is why even though momo is made in every house they all taste different. So today i am sharing my family's way of making momo.

Hope you guys will enjoy reading it.

Loads of love
Rochani :)

INGREDIENTS:

1.     Minced Meat -1  Kg

2.     Plain flour -1 Kg

3.     Spring Onion (chopped)- 1 cup

4.     Water -1 and ½ cup

5.     Cinnamon  powder - ¼ tsp

6.     Salt- to taste

7.     Ginger-Garlic paste - 1 tsp

8.     Cumin powder - ½ tsp

9.     Cooking oil - 5 tbsp

Procedure of  Preparing  Meat:

·        First mix the minced meat, chopped spring onion, cinnamon powder, salt, ginger – Garlic paste, cumin powder, oil in a bowl for at least 5 minutes. Mix it well (we usually mix it by hand so that it mixes better but you can use spoon as well). After mixing it for 5 minutes put 1 and1/2 cup of water and mix it again. (The water should be well soaked up by the meat). After this leave the meat for around 10 minutes.

Procedure of making dough:
·        First take plain flour in a bowl. Then put two tbsp of oil in it. After this start mixing it pouring little water from time to time so that the water doesnot exceed the plain flour (i m usually careful on this part as i always mess up :(  ). Mix it well till the dough becomes soft (with hand). Then leave the dough for about 10 - 15  minutes, so that it gets more soft.

Preparation of momo:
·        Break the dough into small pieces or balls. After this put it in a small amount of dry flour and start making small roti’s out of it. Then put the meat in it and pack it up in the shape u desire. After this put it in the momo maker and steam it for about 5 – 7 minutes.

·        Eat it with your favorite achar :)
